I had a wonderful stay in a small, charming town. The hotel's décor may seem a bit dated from the outside, but it's actually well-maintained and thoughtfully decorated inside. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and I was impressed by the front desk attendant's excellent English language skills. They provided complimentary reading materials in the form of manga and cold spring water was always available. The hotel is conveniently located near a fascinating modern museum and offers easy access to Towada-Lake for those looking for an enjoyable day trip.

Located in a peaceful, calm town, this hotel can be your perfect midway stop to the nearest Lake. the fantastic location, you can enjoy manga and cold spring water. the girl at the front desk speaks very good English, which is impressive. the hotel's decoration is also worth noticing and would give you a unique experience.
Sadly, the breakfast quality isn't up to the mark.

Spent Christmas at an amazing hotel in a small town. The service was amazing, they provided great mangas to read and always kept a cold spring water pot. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive for an old hotel. The girl at the front desk spoke perfect English which made asking for recommendations super easy. The hotel is located near an amazing modern museum and is in a great spot for those wanting to head to Towada-Lake in the morning.
Although the hotel had many great things that stood out, I did notice a few negatives. The hotel is a bit far from the bus station and seems best suited for travelers with cars.

The snowy town was a great location for a Christmas getaway, and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. the hot springs were a plus, and the traditional Japanese robes were a nice touch. the front desk staff was friendly, and the lobby was decorated nicely for the holiday season.
The breakfast was disappointing. Although there were some Western options, the Japanese food was lackluster.
